Carrywell Sandbags

The all-terrain Carrywell sandbags are manufactured with heavy-duty 850 denier woven PP fibers. Our bags are designed to withstand the elements endured in landscaping, construction, and flood barriers. With 1600 hours of UV protection, Carrywell sandbags can endure the sun for 6 to 24 months. Please be advised of competitor’s product that will only endure 1-3 months.

Tips for filling

1. Fill sandbags no more than ⅔ full and tie the bag at the top (lay flat when finished). This sandbag should weigh approximately 40 lbs.

2. Always wear gloves while filling the bags to avoid injuries. Filling sandbags is physically challenging work and can cause back back, hip and knee injuries if not careful. Always deadlift the bags and do not bend your back while handling a full bag..

3. Do not throw the sandbags, instead use an army line

4. Use a rounded point shovel, bagger scoop or funnel to fill sandbags.

5. Remove debris from where the sandbags will be placed. After laying the sandbag, walk on them to remove any air between the sandbags.

Fill Materials

• Carrywell sandbags can be filled with gravel or sand.
• For erosion control, please use gravel.
• For flood control, please use sand (protecting entryways by diverting water)
